This is a digital listing for one copy of the Assurance Shawl by Tracy Tanner of Bosom Femme Fibers.
This shawl is designed to be a comforting reminder that you are worthy, loved, capable, and enough just as you are. No matter what your race, culture, identity, or sexual orientation. Everyone is worthy of love and the assurance that you do matter. Top down construction with little eyelets running down the center, alternating DK and Suri Alpaca lace, with optional fringe. Perfect project to mediate, pray, or just be.
The Assurance Shawl is designed to give the knitter the ultimate garter stitch comfort
project. This triangle shaped shawl will begin at the top center of the shawl and will
slowly grow with sweet little eyelets running down the edge and center, allowing for
customized sizing and yardage requirements. Assurance uses a DK weight yarn for the
bulk of the design and features a Suri Alpaca Lace on the border and fringe. This gives
an almost open lace work feature without the hassle of working lace, giving this project a
refined finish and perfect for beginners or seasoned knitters who want an easy piece to
keep on them.
Knitters will need to be able to work the knit stitch, yarn over, and change
colors. Gauge is not critical for this project, so don’t fret too much. Use a needle that
produces a fabric you enjoy. Keep in mind yarn will grow significantly after blocking.
