It's been over 10 years since I first got my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis, how?! (August 20th, 2013) It's been a wild 10 plus years and there have been so many ups and downs both related to my MS and just life in general.
I was on the way to Colorado for college, we were in the car in the middle of Iowa when I got the call from my doctor in Minnesota that I had MS, so not only was I on the way to a new state for college, I then had to also find a new doctor and start treatments. It was a wild ride 😅
Thankfully, since then I haven't had a relapse and we've figured out a treatment plan that works (after working through 4 other ones) and things are going well!
MS comes with so many fun "bonuses" such as brain fog, balance issues, cognitive struggles, numbness, and a whole slew of things that vary from person to person and even day to day. Some days it can feel like you're drunk even though you haven't had a drink in months.
There is a saying that floats around the community that goes: " I swear I'm not drunk, I just have MS!" So we shortened the name and played with orange and pink for this fun variegated and speckled skein. The mini is Jade to make a sock set!
10% of every skein or sock set sold will be donated to the National MS Society to assist in their research and support efforts!

I do my best to ensure each skein is as similar as can be, but that is the nature of hand dyed yarn- it is art, not mass produced. I make every effort to show the truest colors in the skeins, but tones can vary in different lighting conditions and from screen to screen. To ensure the longevity of your hand dyed yarn I recommend hand washing in cool water with a wool wash and laying flat to dry**
